the 360

Well I went to see if I could find some board shorts that would fit me this afternoon. Before buying them, I tried them on (I don't usually try stuff on at the store) Oh my!!! And how do you think I dealt with this experience...... I went to the pub for dinner and ate way to much, not only that I was the only one who drank alcohol!! Why? Why?

I am quite excited that I have a blog - even tho I don't particularly like writing!! But, I am going to use blogging as a tool to help me keep on track. My mission - weight loss and improved health and mobilty. I don't want to be an older peep before my time!

well here goes:

weight 237lbs ( yes I know that 's awful!!)

Step 1. Gran, Kay and I have committed to weigh in every Thursday.

Step 2. I am going to follow our old sure slim food plan with Gran

Step 3. I have made a plan to go back to Curves with Annie, starting this Tuesday

I had a physical a month ago and the quack said I really need to do something about my weight. He suggested that I go to a pyschiatrist, so that he can help me change habits I have been unable too (or unwilling to) change on my own. Although I think my lack of interest in pretty much everything, especially exercise, is related to peri-menopause. I know I need help to change. I visited Dr. Wooder last week Friday at which time we chatted about pharmacological help. So today he prescribed a very low dose of Ritalin!!!! This will help my energy levels, suppress my appetite, cravings and impact my mood. So we will see. I know it takes a while to re-establish positive habits in your life, so I am hopeful this is what I need to help me do that. My ultimate goal is to be 'drug' free, slimmer and healthier!!

I would like to weigh 170lbs and be a much more active person.
